Its a good electric toothbrush and no doubt about its cleaning ability. I do feel confident having it. The biggest problem i encounter is the fact that it has no battery or charging gauge. This is really irritating as it can suddenly run out of power in the middle of brushing. It loses a little power and that when you know you need to charge it but as it takes a while, you want to finish brushing and then charge it and sometimes you don’t make itworse than that is, as it has a foreign plug, you need an adapter. So when sometimes it looks like its charging, its not quite and there is no light or indicator telling you otherwise so you when you grab it and go to brush. It doesn’t work or just or stop working after a minute. It does need charging every few days so when you have a busy lifestyle you can’t always be on top of this. Very frustrating when either of these situations happen.
I bought this for my nine year old after noticing he spent about 2 seconds in the bathroom brushing his teeth and would be done already. Well not anymore he loves his grown up toothbrush and has even done them twice to make sure they are done properly. Even when the novelty wears off, i feel that an electric brush will do much more brushing whirring around a little mouth than a regular brush that just sits there. I use a braun electric toothbrush myself and when i was without it i could feel the build up on my teeth within a few days, whereas the electric one leaves them squeaky clean.
The oral-b vitality dual clean toothbrush comes complete with a french charger and one brush head. Yes, you will need an adaptater as it is not provided. Sporting an on/off button, no rocker switch for intensity of brushing. I wouldn’t recomend for those of you who suffer from sensitive gums. There’s a 2 minutes timer which may make you feel it takes ages but is highly recomended as a daily usage for healthy teeth. After plugging the charger into a wall socket and placing the toothbrush onto the charger base, there is no flashing light indicating that charging is taking place and when it is fully charged. That said, the toothbrush will operate for two weeks roughly at twice a day – useful for holiday. It does work with unbranded toothbrush heads that you can find in the big four english supermarkets but make sure you check on the packaging beforehand there’s a two year garantie which needs you to go on their website and subscribe, details are on the leaflet. I have been using this toothbrush for a month, have fully tested all its features and am pleased to recommend its purchase for those of you which are on a budget and looking for a good quality electric toothbrush without a couple of features which could be handy.
So far it’s been used daily and a definite improvement from those i’d previously used with disposable aa batteries. The only quibble is there is no led light to indicating when it’s charging: you just have to hope it’s happening. The battery seems to last 10 days at least [i’ve never let it run down yet]. I can see why the dentist recommended it.

Best value toothbrush about. I’ve had a couple of these toothbrushes now and nothing beats them for value for money. Because of the two heads your teeth feel really clean. This particular model was recommended to me by my dentist and i was so happy to see they still make them. I also bought the replacement brushes which are also good value. Beware, there are some copy brush heads available on amazon and the bristles fall out whilst brushing. The delvery service from this company was excellent too. I ordered this on the friday and it was here by monday.
I am really pleased with this. This is not the first electric toothbrush i have had but this one is quite tough and feels like my teeth are getting a deep clean. There are a couple of little niggles. The motor keeps stalling for a few seconds during the process. It isn’t a problem as it doesn’t cut out completely but i hope it is not a sign that it is going to pack up. As was mentioned by another reviewer, there is no indicator light when the brush is recharging. I did read most of the reviews, so i did know about it but i didn’t realize how annoying that would be. Good value for money and much cheaper than my previous toothbrush and much more efficient.
I probably can’t add a lot over what other people have said about this unit, but i was genuinely surprised by the immediate results i saw from using one. I had used electric toothbrushes in the past and really never been very impressed. My wife mentioned them, though, so i thought it was worth giving it a shot. They’re relatively inexpensive and the price is pretty tiny compared to extra dentist bills. When they arrived i plugged them in overnight. The waterproof charging solution is really slick, though it could have done with a “i really am charging” light to make it clear it’s definitely seated and doing something. That said, it’s hard to mess up. It just slides on with a slight magnetic grip to make sure it sits properly. Brushing-wise, within a couple weeks i noticed significant improvements in some harder to reach areas. It ate through some coffee stains i’d always struggled with using a normal brush.
